To ease that anxiety of the first trip, make getting the hotel room a little easier and cheaper.

Determine What You Are Doing

Figuring out what you are going to be doing in Vegas is very important. By knowing what you are going to do while there, you can pick exactly where you are going to stay and maybe even find some deals to go hand in hand with where you’re staying. Here are some suggestions based on the big things to do while in Las Vegas:

  • Golf: Before the Wynn Las Vegas opened, guests would have to go rather far if they wanted to golf. With the emergence of this hotel and their private golf course, guests of the hotel can now stay at the hotel and golf there.
  • Gambling: If you are gambling, consider checking out the MGM. It has one of the largest gaming floors in the world, let alone Las Vegas, at a little over 171,000 square feet. Because of this, there are a ton of tables and slots to try your hands at.
  • Documentaries: If you are interested in different documentary type exhibits, consider the Luxor. In the past, they’ve had exhibits such as Bodies: The Exhibit which showed actual human bodies that were cut up.
  • Shopping: If you want to shop, consider the Wynn because of the shopping mall across the street, the Venetian due to its large collection of shops near the Gondolas, or Caesars. These are all great for shopping.
  • Walking The Strip: If walking the strip is your desire, stay someone where in the middle of the strip so that one night, you can walk up to the top and then the next night, you walk down down to the bottom and appreciate all of the shows available.

Getting a Deal

If you are going to get a deal while in Vegas, do enough research on the casinos. Different hotels have different specials going on at different times. For example, the Wynn gave $50 per room from July until December as an incentive. This $50 could cover the cost of breakfast for the couple that is staying in Vegas, or it can be applied to shopping in the shops there. Other hotels offer day spa trips included in their room. In the end, knowing what you want to do is a great way to determine where to get the best deals on hotels in Las Vegas.
